Sean Reinertson has been selected as the 2016 University of Texas at Tyler homecoming king. This marks six consecutive years that a member of the Theta Pi Chapter has been named Mr. UT Tyler. The announcement came Saturday, October 15, 2016 during campus homecoming festivities.
The entire school votes for this highly touted opportunity to represent the university.
“This is just another great opportunity that being a Pi Kapp has given me and a great reason to come back to UT Tyler and hopefully pass on the torch,” Reinertson said.
The senior Kinesiology major mentors and educates the new members of Pi Kappa Phi, currently serving as warden. He previous completed a term as chapter president.
Reinertson, a native of Floresville, Texas, is also president of Order of Omega honor society at UT Tyler.
“It’s a real honor to be apart of the group of guys that have won this before as Pi Kapps. I couldn’t of done this without them paving the way and all the support I’ve received from brothers and friends.”
