The Theta Pi Chapter and their dates after the Founders’ Day Banquet.
On Saturday November 21st, the Theta Pi Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity held their annual Founders’ Day Banquet at the 6S Ranch in Lindale, Texas. 30 members of the Theta Pi Chapter, their dates, and various members of the Theta Pi Alumni Chapter gathered together to commemorate the national founding of the fraternity on December 10, 1904.
George Chen, Theta Pi Chapter Chaplain, delivered an excellent speech that detailed the values on which our Fraternity was founded. “Our Fraternity was based upon the principles of Christian manhood as well as friendship,” said George Chen. “Men and women who aren’t a part of our beloved Fraternity can still live a quality life by living the values that our founders established for us on December 10th, 1904.”
Awards were given out to active members, as well as two chapter alumni:
- Star and Lamp Award: Chase Miller
- Executive Council Award: Taylor Kemp
- Committee Chairman Award: Danny Diep
- Intramural Participant Award: Austin Doyle
- Associate Member Award: Matthew Thrasher
- Co-Alumni of the Year: Austin Fisher and Jesus Maldonado
The Theta Pi Chapter would also like to give a special thanks to Thomas Marlbrough of the Beta Omicron Chapter at Northwestern State University for assisting in our Ritual of Initiation as well as attending our annual Founders’ Day Banquet.
