On the evening of September 4th, 2015, the Theta Pi Chapter welcomed 15 new members; more than doubling the current size of the chapter. All of these men were attracted to the fraternity because of the emphasis on friendship, brotherhood, and service that Pi Kappa Phi places upon all of its members.
New members of the “Pi” pledge class hail from all over the country, including men from Texas, Florida, and Wisconsin. “Bid day is always the best time of the year for our chapter,” Vice Archon Taylor Kemp explained. “My favorite part of being a Pi Kappa Phi is watching these young men make a life decision and join an organization that is certain to change their lives.”
These young men will embark on an 11 week journey that will teach them fraternity history, operations, aspects of brotherhood and selflessness, as well as leadership techniques. “Our main objective for these new members is to ensure that they maintain an excellent GPA while simultaneously teaching them the values and ideals of Pi Kappa Phi,” Warden Shane Conway said.
Although Formal Recruitment has come to an end for the Fall semester, it is still not too late to join our fraternity. If anyone is still interested, contact Vice Archon Taylor Kemp by emailing him at firstname.lastname@example.org or click on our “Join Pi Kapp” tab on the homepage of our website and fill out the survey!
